While I am not a poetry reader in general I enjoyed my journey through this book.Several of the pieces spoke out to me, in particular 'Futility'. Each individual piece engendered different thought reactions and responses - most all of them quite profound in nature.
I would definitely recommend spending time with the words of this debut poetess to experience all her writing offers a reader - the depth of feeling the words brought out was astounding.

This collection of poetry is not lacking in depth. It can cause very deep provoking thoughts within your mind. O like reading poetry and was not disappointed when I came across this treasure. Give it a look for yourself.
Got this book from the author to review. Though, I have been avidly reading and reviewing books of almost every genre now, poetry was a genre that I didn't touched for almost a year. So, I enjoyed a lot, the chance of reading poetry after such a long time and then it tops the fun when the book's so enjoyable.
This book is very deeply thought and written in which readers will get soaked into like a sponge. A lot of lessons can be take from the poet's personal life which she shares in this book. The poet pressurises on life which are experienced by many of us in some or the other way. The poet triggers with different emotions and situations of life throughout the book.
Overall a superb book.
I'm not an expert on poetry (nor do I read very much of it), but I do know what I like and I like "Reneging Quiescence" very much.
Poetry reviews are very difficult for me to write... Mostly because I think every reader will see something different, experience the poems in a different way.
So, all I can say is this take particular note of the last line of "Flight" - quite possibly THE most beautiful line I have ever read.
